I Scream, You Scream, We All Scream for …
Halloween is almost here!
Carving pumpkins, dressing up in costume, and let’s not forget the candy!
Ghosts and goblins too sugary-sweet for you? Well, buckle up. It’s Halloween—Central Coast-style. And you’re in for a heck of a hauntingly fun time.
Let’s set the scene. Full moon (of course!). Foggy night. Broken-down car. An abandoned house on a craggy hill up ahead. Cue scary music…
Eerie moans greet you as you push open the creaky front door. Enter if you dare.
Your fully immersive, interactive theater adventure begins at The Haunt in Atascadero. With a theme like Vampyres of Transylmania, how could you resist?
There’s nowhere to run or hide in this creepy maze of 19 terror-filled rooms. You’ll have no idea what’s in front of—or behind you—but you can feel their tortured spirits swirling about. Your new vampire friends anxiously await meeting you. And they’re very thirsty. So, be a good guest and offer your hosts a drink.
Lucky for you, you get to choose your adventure…this time. The Lights On Tour, great for kids of all ages, lets kids explore—you guessed it—with the lights on. Feeling a bit braver? Try the regular show experience for ages 12 and up. For an extra terrifying turn, push your fears aside with the Night Terrors show. No lights, only lanterns. How’s your scare level now? Just a piece of advice—bring a spare pair of pants—in case the fear overwhelms you.
Think you can do better? Gather the neighbors and lug your ghastly decorations out of storage. We’ll be hiding in the shadows dying for an invitation. Go ahead. We double-dare you.
Open October weekends, The Haunt in Atascadero, located at 5805 El Camino Real, can be reached at www.thehauntinatascadero.com or (805) 457-5845.
